What is ZpikesTape?

ZpikesTape is a drug-free alternative for those who want to take advantage of the body’s unique potential. ZpikesTape is acupressure, which is pressure instead of needles as in acupuncture. There are no drugs in this product and therefore ZpikesTape will not cause any side effects associated with traditional pharmaceuticals. The product consists of nylon tape, latex-free glue, and a hemisphere made of ABS plastic that constantly presses on two selected acupressure points, depending on the issue. The product breaths, is water-resistant and easy to use. ZpikesTape can be a valuable alternative in many cases, but it should never replace medical treatment if needed.

What is acupressure?

Acupressure is a form of alternative treatment that is described as acupuncture without needles (pressure instead of needles).

What can ZpikesTape help with (Li4)?

Li4 stimulation can, among other things, help with: better sleep, pain relief, various headache conditions, relaxation, recovery, and energy.

 

How to use ZpikesTape for better sleep?

For better sleep, the product should be applied to acupressure point Li4, 30-60 minutes before bedtime.

What can ZpikesTape help with (P6)?

P6 stimulation can, among other things, help with: Various nausea conditions such as motion sickness (eg plane, car, and boat). Several countries and hospitals recommend using P6 stimulation for pregnancy nausea, postoperative nausea, and chemotherapy-induced nausea.

When should I use ZpikesTape?

ZpikesTape can be used preventive, as well as after symptoms or the problem has occurred (applies to both P6 and Li4 stimulation).

ZpikesTape is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, injury, or disability.

For how long should I wear ZpikesTape?

Each ZpikesTape should not be used for more than 12 consecutive hours. This maximum limit is mainly to take care of the tissue under the hemisphere. Use ZpikesTape with common sense.

When can I put on a new ZpikesTape?

A new ZpikesTape should not be applied within two hours after removal, or until the affected area has returned to its natural state (absence of redness, impression in the skin, etc.).

How do I make sure that the ZpikesTape sticks well on the skin?

The skin must be clean and dry before applying ZpikesTape. Rub the ZpikesTape after application to heat up the adhesive – approx. 15-30 seconds. Be careful along the edges when rubbing.

What should I do before applying the ZpikesTape?

Wash your hands before application, and make sure you do not use perfume or moisturizer over or under the ZpikesTape. Large amounts of body hair can reduce the adhesion of the product.

Should I wear ZpikesTape on one or two hands?

We recommend that ZpikesTape is applied on both sides at the same time (eg. right and left hand), for optimal effect. The product can also be worn on one hand. Find out what works best for you.

Should I stimulate the point during application?

The acupressure point should be located and stimulated (15 seconds each way, in circular motions) with the hemisphere during application.

Do I have to do anything after applying ZpikesTape?

Repeated self-stimulation/pressure on the hemisphere, during the period ZpikesTape is applied, may increase the efficiency (eg. 10-20 seconds every hour).

How should I remove the ZpikesTape most gently?

After use: carefully remove the tape and use an adhesive remover for the most gentle removal to avoid skin damage.

Can I use each ZpikesTape multiple times?

No, each ZpikesTape is for single use only.

Can I stop taking medication when I use ZpikesTape?

ZpikesTape can be a valuable alternative in many cases, but it should never replace medical treatment if needed. Talk to your doctor if you want to reduce your medication intake.

Why do I not experience the desired relief from ZpikesTape?

The effectiveness of ZpikesTape may vary from individual to individual. Some experience immediate relief, others experience relief after prolonged use. Not everyone will experience relief and we can not guarantee the desired effect of ZpikesTape.

Can ZpikesTape be used by children?

ZpikesTape can be used by children over 5 years of age in consultation with an adult, under supervision, and as long as you inform why.

Can I use ZpikesTape on acupressure points other than LI4 and P6?

We recommend using only the recommended acupressure points.

When should I not use ZpikesTape?

Should not be used if you have symptoms of skin disease, thin skin, wounds or damaged skin in the application area.

Is there anyone that should not use or should be careful when using ZpikesTape?

Do not use ZpikesTape if you are allergic to tape, plasters or any of the components in ZpikesTape.

Elderly people and people with diseases that, among other things, affect the skin should be careful when using ZpikesTape for the sake of the skin and the risk of developing wounds.

People with cancer and/or connective tissue disease and/or people being treated for abnormally low or high blood pressure should consult a doctor before use.

What do I do if some of the components in ZpikesTape are swallowed?

Consult a physician immediately.

Can pregnant women use ZpikesTape?

ZpikesTape should not be used by pregnant women on the acupressure point Li4 (between thumb and forefinger), as it is claimed to be able to initiate labor.

ZpikesTape can be used by pregnant women on acupressure point P6 against various nausea conditions.

Are there any side effects from using ZpikesTape?

Overuse or misuse of the product may result in local skin irritation, swelling and / or pressure ulcers.

What do I do if I experience discomfort when using ZpikesTape?

The ZpikesTape should be removed if you experience general discomfort, local discomfort, skin reactions, itching, or allergic reactions/rashes in or around the application area.

In case of increased pain or worsening of the condition or problem, the ZpikesTape should be removed immediately.

In case of persistent problems, a doctor should be contacted.

Can I cancel the subscription at any time?

How do I change the color of my ZpikesTape?

If you want to change the color of your ZpikesTape, you can easily do so by logging into “my account”. After the change has been made, you will receive an email with the details. It costs nothing to make changes to your subscription.

If you want to change the number of ZpikesTape boxes in your subscription, you can easily do so by logging into “my account”. After the change has been made, you will receive an email with the details. It costs nothing to make changes to your subscription.

Can I order subscriptions to several different households?

A user can only order one subscription. If you want to order more subscriptions, we recommend that you create a new user with a different email. This way you can have two active subscriptions to two different addresses and recipients.

Is ZpikesTape water-resistant?

Yes, as long as ZpikesTape is applied correctly on clean and dry skin, the tape will sit just as well in water as on land!

Is ZpikesTape breathable?

Yes it is. ZpikesTape is made of nylon and therefore has good breathability.

Is there any difference between beige, black and pink ZpikesTape?

No, the only difference is the color of the ZpikesTape.

How should I store ZpikesTape?

ZpikesTape should be stored in a dry place, at room temperature and should not be exposed to direct sunlight. Must be kept out of reach of children and animals due to choking hazard.

What is ZpikesTape made of?

Tape: 97% nylon, 3% spandex.

Glue: Latex-free acrylic glue.

Hemisphere: ABS plastic.
